Margaret Atieno is the Country Director for Kenya at Ethical Seafood Research (ESR), where she leads initiatives to advance fish welfare and sustainable aquaculture in Kenya. She works closely with fish farmers, government agencies, research institutions, and industry partners to promote responsible seafood production and the adoption of best aquaculture practices. Margaret is passionate about improving fish welfare while strengthening the resilience and livelihoods of farming communities.
